Huge enthusiasm in Patiala for ‘Patiala Heritage Festival-2020’
Patiala,The launch of the Patiala Heritage Festival-2020 is being organized here today by the Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh. The fort is at Mubarak. On this occasion, Mrs. Parnit Kaur, Lok Sabha member, along with other guests, first bowed before the throne of Patiala, Baba Ala Singh, and prayed for the good and the chaudhikala of the Patiala and the Punjabi people. Inaugurated the Patiala Heritage Festival by lighting the lamp ahead of the light that has been burning for more than a decade. In the meantime, where the bugle of the bugle and the melodious tunes of wisdom created a magnificent atmosphere, the bells of the temples near the fort and the chattering of the birds in the fort were different colors.

Earlier in the festivities organized by the Cultural and Tourism Department of Punjab and the District Administration in collaboration with Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development, in the open courtyard of the famous courtyard in the open courtyard of Qila Mubarak. Viewers enjoyed the wonderful presentation of the documentary directed by Singh Lata. Member of Parliament Mrs. Parnit Kaur congratulated the Punjab Govt and the district administration for organizing this heritage festival where Patiala Heritage Festival was named as Patialawani. Mrs. Parnit Kaur said that the purpose of the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to organize this heritage festival is to inform our future generation about their precious heritage, culture and rich heritage. He did not celebrate the 550-year-old Prakash Prabhu’s devotion to Guru Nanak Dev Ji by the Punjab Government and in the meanwhile it was a matter of pride for us that Sri Darbar Sahib, Ambassador of 64 countries of the world was honored.

Mrs. Parnit Kaur also informed about the development work being done by the Punjab Government including providing canal water supply to the city of Patiala.  On the occasion, the President of the National Rifle Association of India and the Vice President of the International Shooting Sports Federation and the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and Mrs. Parnit Kaur’s sons, Yuvraj Ranjayar Singh, along with his junior Ranjar Singh Ranjar Singh Invited. S. Raninder Singh, wishing the Indian shooters good performance at Tokyo Olympics, apprised the achievements of Indian players in rifle shooting and informed that 15 players from the age of 16 to the Tokyo Olympics will be 16 years old. And over 10 million children in the country shoot with air pistols. He said that the government has created an environment for children to get involved in shooting and a world class shooting range is being set up in Chandigarh for which parents should put their children in shooting game. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Jampal of Patiala and Mr. Amritsar Sahib were present. Shivdulaar Singh Dhillon organized these fairs to mark Patiala on the World Heritage Site map while highlighting the history of Patiala Heritage Festival and Patiala. Visitors and students from schools, colleges also enjoyed the inaugural event of the Heritage Festival. Meanwhile, in a pandal in the open courtyard of Qila Mubarak, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, information about the achievements of education, health, healthy Punjab, house-to-house employment and sports was also discussed. During the ceremony, the family members of the Chief Minister came to enjoy a documentary about the rich history of Patiala, which included the Chief Minister’s brother, Raja Malvinder Singh, Rani Harpriya Kaur, son of Yuvraj Raninder Singh, former MP.
