-All norms such as social distancing & Sanitization to combat corona virus, found being observed
With a view to ensure that the guidelines with regard to social distancing are being followed in the wake of curfew imposed to combat corona virus disease, An Inspection was conducted today at Verka Plant today at 10.00 am.
The team comprised of Jasvinder Singh AR Mohali, Kanwar Puneet Singh, inspector urban-4 Mohali, Jujhar Singh , inspector urban2 Mohali, and Tejinder Singh JE Electrical MC Mohali.
Mr AK Mishra, Manager HR, Verka Milk Plant Mohali facilitated the inspecting team.
The team found that the security personnel were following protocol by wearing triple layered mask and maintained social distancing in the office. Besides, Thermal scanner was available at the gate where 2nd line of security is installed. Each and every entrant was being scanned using TSD(Thermal Scanning Device).
The alcohol based sanitizer was available at the main gate. A sanitizing tunnel has also been maintained but it’s use has been discontinued following the advisory issued by Government Of Punjab.
Milk tankers were being sanitized on arrival first at gate and again at Reception Spot where the milk is dispensed in the silos. The Social distancing norms were also being followed by the workers and drivers present there all the workers were working with the masks on and gloves in their hands.
All sections had alcohol based sanitizing facility at entry point and a security guard was deputed to facilitate officials/ officers/workers.The sanitization of structures and equipment not in use was being done.
Not only this but cleaning of floors was also in progress where the work had finished.
