Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg

Luxembourg City – Europe’s seventh smallest country, Luxembourg will make public transport free in the next summer.

It will be the first country in the world to do so.

Under this, people traveling in bus, train and Luxembourg City tram in Luxembourg will not have to pay any rent.

It is worth mentioning that the population of this country is about six lakhs.

Despite the low population, there is a problem of traffic.

Due to this, the government has planned to save the country’s environment and get rid of the traffic problem.

Tomorrow, Xavier Bettel has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Luxembourg.

Bettel said in an election rally that he would be able to make public transport free.

The government has already announced free transport for students up to 20 years.

Free transport service from home to school has been started for secondary school students.

Anyone who travels for more than two hours will have to pay 1.78 pounds i.e. a country having 2590 square kilometer of land area, would have to pay Rs 160.

In 2020, tickets for all types will be closed in Luxembourg.

The government has not yet set up any free transport policy, which is to be formulated.
