Result of 06 posts of Video Conference Operators in the Jail Department also declared

Process for filling up 440 posts of Junior Draftsman and 35 posts of Assistant Jail Superintendent in various departments to commence soon- Raman Bahl

Chandigarh/S.A.S. Nagar, May 28:

Amid lockdown and a general slowdown in regular functioning of various institutions, the Punjab Sub-ordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) continues to deliver hope and happiness to numerous families with the declaration of result to various posts in departments of Government of Punjab.

In a special meeting held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Raman Bahl on May 28, the members of the PSSSB declared the result of 94 posts of Supervisors in State Social Security Department. The recommendations for the names of eligible candidates for these posts are being sent to the concerned department, informed Bahl.

In the meeting the result of 06 posts of Video Conference Operators in the Jail Department was also declared and approval was given to the concerned department to acquire requisite documents from the shortlisted candidates.

Pertinently, earlier in the month, the Board declared the result to 25 posts of Food Safety Officers.

“Standing steadfast to the commitment of the Punjab government to provide employment to the youth, Sub-ordinate Services Selection Board will continue to support the initiative by carrying out recruitment to the desired posts through a quick, fair and merit-based process, said Bahl and informed that the members of the Board have given approval to start the process for filling up 440 posts of Junior Draftsman and 35 posts of Assistant Jail Superintendent in various departments.  An advertisement in this regard would be issued soon to solicit applications from the candidates. After conducting the requisite written test in a transparent manner, the eligible candidates would be selected on the basis of merit, said he.

Board Members Jaspal Singh Dhillon, Kuldeep Singh Kahlon, Rajneesh Sahota, Samshad Ali, Domila Bansal, Bhupinder Pal Singh, Ravinderpal Singh, Amarjit Singh Walia, Harpartap Singh Sidhu and Alta Ahluwalia participated in the meeting.  As per the directions of the Health Department, all social distancing protocols were duly maintained.
