-ALL POSSIBLE MEASURES IN PLACE TO KEEP GOVERNMENT SERVANTS AWAY FROM COVID-19-DC MUKTSAR
Muktsar, April 22: Apart from stringent measures taken at public places across the district to contain the spread of Covid-19 such strictness is also implemented at the District Administrative Complex as well.
Apart from deploying round the clock security at the main entrance of the complex and keeping all the floors sanitized and clean now the body temperature of anyone entering their respective offices too is checked.
Deputy Commissioner M. K. Aravind Kumar said that viewing exposure of the government officials visiting the offices in complex every possible measure is taken to keep the workforce safe.
Now a water tank too has been installed outside the complex which is operated with foot to extract water and soap and now anyone visiting the complex need not to touch the water-tap or soap with their hands.
“Though process of sanitizing corridors, office rooms, washrooms and parking area was on ever since the lockdown was imposed but now with more strictness government employees visiting the complex feel extra secure,” said a senior official.
The employees said that now employees on Covid-19 duty are allowed to enter the complex and bare minimum staff is visiting the government offices and that too for very important works.
They added that government servants are always in touch with each other over WhatsApp and telephonically as most of the official work is now being done only on phone and laptops with the help of internet.
