Toronto: Two male victims were injured in a shooting near the Jamestown Crescent & John Garland Boulevard on Tuesday evening, says Toronto police.

About six to 10 shots were heard, as per police report.

One of the male is conscious and breathing and suffered from lower-body injuries while the other one suffered upper-body injuries.

Both the victims were rushed to the hospital and currently, there is no information on any suspects, police told.

Steve Henderson, Toronto Paramedic Services Deputy Commander, says both victims are in their 40s and their injuries are described as serious.

There are road closures east of Martin Grove Road, Toronto police said.
