Regina Saskatchewan – Ten people dead and fifteen other injured who are admitted to the hospital in incidents of stabbings at 13 different locations in two communities in the province of Saskatchewan. The Canada police said they are looking for two suspects.
Police said, Fifteen people have been sent to hospitals after stabbings in multiple locations on James Smith Cree Nation and in village of Weldon.
Rhonda Blackmore, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Candian Mounted Police in Saskatchewan said some of victims appears to have been targeted by attackers and others seems to have been stabbed at random.
Blackmore said, “It is worrisome and horrible what has been occurred in our province”. She said there are 13 locations identified where dead or deceased are found. She urged the suspects to surrender at their own.
Police said the last information about the suspects that is shared by the people is Saskatchewan Capital where they were seen around lunchtime. There have been no sightings of suspects after this.
RCMP has posted an alerting message on Twitter “If in Regina area, take precautions and consider sheltering in place. Donot leave a secured location. Do not approach suspicious persons. Do not pick up hitch hikers. Report suspicious persons, emergencies or info to 9-1-1. Donot disclose police locations, the police added in the message.
RCMP still searching for the supects. Police could not tell about the motive of the suspects behind the attacks till now. The two suspected men are Damien Sanderson, 31 and Myles Sanderson , 30.
