Delhi – The Supreme Court cancels bail of Ajay Mishra, the prime accused in Lakhimpur Kheri case. The court in its order has asked Mishra to surrender within a week’s time.
It is pertinent to say, the victim families and farmers organisations had filed a petition in Apex Court opposing Mishra’s bail which was, earlier, granted by Allahabad High Court.
Meanwhile , setting aside the verdict of high court , the Special Bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and accompanied by Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Surya Kant pronounced the order in this case in which the court has cancelled the bail granted to Ajay Mishra and asked him to surrender within a week.
