Chandigarh – In the second round of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann cabinet expansion , five names are doing rounds.
The names of three including MLA from Amritsar South Dr. Inderbir Nijjar, Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Mann and Guruharsahai MLA Fauja Singh Sarari are confirmed at the moment. But, names of MLAs Professor Budh Ram, Professor Baljinder Kaur and Sarvjit Kaur Mabuke are also in the race.
Dr. Inderbir Nijjar was appointed as Protem Speaker after Bhagwant Mann Government was formed after winning a huge mandate in Vidhan Sabha Elections.
Sarari comes from Rai Sikh community and Anmol Gagan Mann as Youth leader.
It is pertinent to say Bhagwant Mann cabinet was formed with 10 cabinet ministers in first round but the number of ministers have reduced to 9 as Dr. Vijay Singla , former health minister was sacked by Chief Minister Mann in corruption charges.
The oath taking ceremony of new ministers inducted in cabinet berth is scheduled to be 5 pm today.
