Chandigarh – Five MLAs took oath of ministers berth who are inducted in Bhagwant Mann Cabinet today. The oath ceremony was organised at Governor house in the evening.
The MLAs who took oath include Inderbir Nijjar, Aman Arora, Anmol Gagan Mann, Chetan Singh Joddemajra and Fauja Singh Sarari.
Earlier , Mann cabinet had 10 ministers in first phase. Whereas, Chief Minister had sacked his own health minister Vijay Singla under corruption charges due it which the number of ministers had reduced to 9.
According to rule and amenent cabinet ministers number is ascertained by 15percent of the total members in Vidhan Sabha.The names of two times winner MLAs Sarvjit Kaur Manuke and Professor Baljinder Kaur were also doing rounds but these were not seen on final list of new appointments of ministers.
