Chandigarh – Indian Medical Association Chandigarh has strongly condemned the unbecoming and unwarranted behavior of the Punjab Health Minister Chetan Singh Jode Majra with Professor Dr. Raj Bahadur, V.C. Baba Farid University of Health sciences.
Former National Vice President IMA Dr. Ramneek Sharna said Prof. Raj Bahadur is a highly respected Orthopedic surgeon who is known nationally and internationally.His career spans over five decades and all can vouch for his commitment to Medical profession and his integrity.
Dr. Sharna said all the doctors are deeply hurt and extremely upset over the misbehavior of the Health Minister.
He said any deficiencies and imprivement thereupon in the health delivery system has to be a joint responsibility. if such is the behaviour of law makers then medical fraternity wonit be abke to help patients get better medical facilities.
He further said “We call upon the Chief Minister of Punjab to take the appropriate action and ask the Health Minister to apologize to restore our faith in our political system.”
