New Delhi – The CBI has raided the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday after registering an FIR regarding formulation of excise policy. The investigation agency has carried out searches at 21 locations in Delhi-NCR in total including IAS officer Arava Gopi  Krishna.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an FIR in connection with alleged irregularities in formulation and execution of Delhi’s excise policy that has been brought in November last year. There are four names of public servants included in FIR.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said Arvind Kejriwal shouldu stop treating people as fools and should stop addressing the people of the country. He further said Delhi CM did not even suspend Satyendra Jain when he went to jail. He said it is not the first case of corruption by Aam Aadmi Party. There has been a huge corruption in the liqour stores in Delhi.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also took to twitter and posts several post when the team of CBI came to search his premises.

Sisodia taking on Twitter said “We welcome CBI. We’ll be fully cooperating with the investigative agency during investigation. Till now, a number of cases has been registered against me but nothing has come out yet”.

It is pertinent to mention here , the case has been registered against the excise policy which was introduced last year but the Delhi government has to withdraw the policy after a huge controversy and a row with Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena who had called for CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the excise policy.
