The training programme equipped PSIEC officers with the skills and competencies required for key parts of the development cycle of industrial parks, including visioning, feasibility, and planning; estate management; marketing and investment promotion; and inter-agency coordination.

The officials gained insights and international perspectives on industrial park development, from CIG’s resource expert Mr Lim Chin Chong. Formerly from JTC Corporation in Singapore, Mr Lim shared good practices accumulated from his decades of experience in industrial park development projects across Asia.

Mr Wu Wei Neng, Executive Director, CIG, emphasised CIG’s dedication to supporting governments. He added:

“CIG is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting governments in the important work that all of you do. This programme would not have been possible without PSIEC’s contribution, dedication and participation.”
