Madhya Pradesh government has sent eviction notices to junior doctors to vacate their hostels after nearly 3,000 of them resigned in protest following the High Court order which called their strike “illegal”.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang said the state government had given a stipend hike of 17% but the doctors were adamant it should be 24%.
