Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday announced that the state government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) for government employees from 17% to 28% with effect from July 2021.

“Government will enhance honorarium to Anganwadi Workers/Anganwadi Helpers,” he added. Last month, the Centre hiked DA for Central government employees and dearness relief for pensioners to 28%.
