Punjab government will conduct trials to select state teams for the All India Civil Services Hockey Tournament, on September 15 at Jalandhar.

Divulging further, Director Sports Mr. D.P.S. Kharbanda informed that the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is organizing the All India Civil Services Hockey Tournament (Men/Women) from September 23 to 30, 2021 at Markandeshwar Hockey Stadium, Shahbad Markanda, Distt. Kurukshetra (Haryana), for which state teams are to be selected. And, the trials to select state hockey teams would be held on September 15, 2021 at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar from 10:00 AM onwards.

Mr. Kharbanda further said that aspiring players-government employees (regulars) can participate in these trials after obtaining No Objection Certificate from their respective departments to participate in this tournament.
