Melbourne: Justin Langer has stepped down as the head coach of the Australia cricket team. Last month, Australia defeated England 4-0 in the Ashes series under Langer’s coaching. He has resigned after a meeting with Cricket Australia officials.

In 2018, Langer was given the responsibility of the head coach after the ball tampering scandal in South Africa. In November last year, Australia won the T20 World Cup for the first time.
