Govt should curb increasing criminal incidents in the state: Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa
Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) President and former Union Minister, S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and former Finance Minister from Punjab, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa while expressing condolences on the brutal killing of the internationally renowned singer Sidhu Moose said that his untimely demise had not only left his family in unbearable pain but has also created a huge void in the Punjabi music world.
While, strongly condemning the brutal killing of Sidhu Moose, who was today shot dead by unidentified assailants, a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab Government, in a joint statement issued here, the two senior leaders said taking a strict cognizance of the ongoing gang war and other criminal incidents in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should first and foremost pay attention to the ensure marinating the law and order situation in Punjab.
Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa also appealed to the Chief Minister to strengthen the security arrangements instead of withdrawing, without considering the threats given to them so that the precious lives of innocent people can be saved. S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the family of Sidhu Musewala and his loved ones and demanded immediate action against those involved in this brutal killing.
