Misusing the name of Sikh prisoners just to gain vote bank is not going to help the Badal Family in any way, Parminder Singh Dhindsa
Chandigarh: Senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) and former Finance Minister, Parminder Singh Dhindsa has slammed Sukhbir Singh Badal who is trying to restore his lost political credibility by using ‘Bandi Singhs’. In a statement issued here today, Dhindsa said that the political manoeuvring being done by the Badal family to portray their Pro- Panthic image now would be of no use to them.
Dhindsa said that the Badal family had already tarnished its image due to anti-panth policies. They are pretending to be supporters of the Bandi Singhs while the anti-panthic activities of the Badal family are not hidden from anyone. The Badal family is directly responsible for the fall of the Sikh Community in the Panthic Institutions. Now suddenly Badal’s have started talking in favour of Panth and Prisoned Sikhs to restore their lost legacy in Punjab, said Dhindsa.
He said that Sukhbir Singh Badal had cleverly made Bibi Kamaldeep Kaur his political front to garner Panthic votes but now the Sikh community has completely understood these nefarious tricks of the Badal family. Dhindsa further said that in the present miserable condition of Akali Dal, Sukhbir Badal’s condition is similar of a lumberjack who was sitting on the same branch.
Parminder Singh Dhindsa said that Shiromani Akali Dal has a glorious history of more than 100 years old organization of martyrs. Sukhbir Singh Badal has become the President of Akali Dal. He has started running the party like a private company and as a result of which people showed them the doors and didn’t even get a chance to sit in the Opposition even in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
