Chandigarh – Amar Singh, a veteran Journalist from moga, one of the senior members of Chandigarh press club, passed away at 91years of age on Monday evening at his residence in Moga. His last rites will be performed on 26 July on Tuesday.
Advocate Amar Singh who was a witness of emergency and militancy times in Punjab was working with United News of India (News Agency).
The president of Punjab and Chandigarh Journalist Union Balbir Jandu , Chairman Balwinder Singh Jammu , president of Chandigarh Chapter Jai Singh Chhibber , Pritam Rupal on the behalf of Union sent condolences on his demise.
