Appealed to his colleagues to contribute for the development of Punjab
Chandigarh : Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan shared memories of his college days with his classmates of Guru Nanak Engineering College Bidar (Karnataka) and urged them to contribute for the development of Punjab.
Sandhwan, who is touring Canada in these days, met his colleagues last evening. They shared their old recollections of student life and student struggles. The emotional bonding of students life was dominant during this get-together. Meanwhile, Sandhwan sought the suggestions of his colleagues to restore the glory of the state and make it ‘Rangala Punjab’ again besides, appealed to them to play their role for the development of Punjab.
Sandhwan said that they have vast experience of engineering and after study they worked in various fields and this experience must benefit Punjab. As Punjabis, it is their responsibility to play their appropriate role in the development of state.
Sandhwan’s classmates living in Canada, warmly welcomed him on his arrival in Canada and they promised to give all support in the development of the Punjab. Sandhwan said that he enjoyed meeting with his classmates and he will continue to meet his colleagues in future.
