Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada issued 1,000 invitations to apply for permanent residence in an Express Entry round for Canadian Experience Class candidates.

The August 18 draw had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 523. The tie-breaking rule was set at August 17, 2026, at 22:09 UTC, meaning candidates with exactly 523 points needed to have submitted their profiles before that time.

The Canadian Experience Class is intended for eligible skilled workers who have acquired qualifying employment experience in Canada. Receiving an invitation does not automatically grant permanent residence; candidates must submit a complete application and satisfy all eligibility and admissibility requirements.
