Canada issued 442 invitations to apply for permanent residence in a Provincial Nominee Program-specific Express Entry round held on August 17.

Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 760. Express Entry candidates who receive an enhanced provincial or territorial nomination normally obtain 600 additional CRS points, which explains the comparatively high selection threshold in PNP rounds.

Candidates who receive invitations must still submit complete applications and undergo the required medical, criminality, security and admissibility assessments before permanent residence can be approved.
