The Toronto Transit Commission is investigating videos that appear to show several people entering its North Queen Yard in Etobicoke without authorization and driving a TTC bus around the property.
The footage reportedly shows the bus travelling at high speed and knocking down a sign that nearly struck another person. The TTC described the alleged conduct as dangerous and potentially criminal. No arrests had been announced when the initial report was published.
Why it matters: Unauthorized access to an operating transit facility could endanger employees and trespassers while damaging publicly funded vehicles and infrastructure.
