A 16-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after a vehicle apparently lost control near Lawrence Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue in Scarborough.
Police said the vehicle struck the teenager and two parked cars. The driver and passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, while the teenager was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators had not established what caused the driver to lose control, and no charges had been announced.
