Today, BJP led Indian government decided to lay the foundation stone of the development of this corridor.
The function was flooded with, politicians of various parties, BJP-Akali and Congress included.
Ironically, on the foundation stone of the Dera Baba Nanak corridor project, name of ex-CM of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal was mentioned too.
But, this reference to the senior Akali leader which got the Congress MLA, Sukhi Randhawa fuming who in irk black tapped his own name, PPCC’s (Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee) head, Sunil Jakhar’s and CM Punjab Capt. Amrinder Singh’s name as a protest.
Sukhjinder said, “This foundation stone was not constructed as per the protocol, there was no need of naming any politician on it”.
“Two-faced image of SAD is exposed here, they called Sidhu a traitor for his last Pakistani visit and now with which face they are putting their names? Harsimrat Badal should answer it,” asked a clearly furious Randhawa.
It is quite clear that the Punjab Congress is not liking the interference of Central government in this whole Kartarpur Corridor setting.
