The Indian High Commission in Singapore said in a statement that “87,055 passengers were transported by 629 Indian ships between May last year and May 18 this year,” according to a media report. An average of 180 Indians are returning to India every day under the ‘Vande Bharat Campaign’, a joint statement from various ministries said.
