Anear about three out of every four H-1B visa holders from October 5 are Indians, as per an official US report.

There were up to 419,637 foreign citizens working in the United States on H-1B visas as of October 5, according to the USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services).

Adding to the USCIS reports, among these mentioned, 309,986 are Indians.

Meanwhile after China and India, the only two countries

South Korea and Canada are the only two countries having 1.1% each on H1-B visas are South Korea and Canada.

From  Philippines, as many as 3,250 citizens were on H-1B visas as on 5th October.

“The proposed regulations are aimed at attracting the best and brightest from across the world, prevent the abuse of H-1B visas which is consentient with the hire American agenda of the Trump administration,” the USCIS said.

Pre-registration system may be introduced for foreign students in the USA, plans the USCIS.
