National Award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay has suffered irreversible brain damage after a road accident in Bengaluru on Saturday night.

The 38-year-old is being treated in Neuro ICU with all life support, Apollo Hospital said, adding that he is deeply unconscious neurologically and is showing signs of brain failure. The Kannada actor’s family has consented for organ donation, it further stated.
