Rana Sodhi asserted that Punjab Government led by Captain Amarinder Singh did not leave the people alone during this pandemic unlike the Akali leaders, who were just content with issuing statements. The Minister regretted that SAD and other opposition parties had done nothing to help overcome corona virus except lip-service. “It, rather, tried to divide the people instead of standing with them. The negative role being played by them in the prevailing circumstances is condemnable”, he maintained. He reiterated that these leaders had no agenda to deal with Corona Virus and its politics on this important issue was not in the interest of the nation particularly in the state of Punjab.

He emphasized that state needed unity and brotherhood than ever before. The government is fully committed to overcoming the pandemic and public service will be steadfastly continued in this difficult moment, the Minister concluded.
