Sacramento: An 8 years old girl that was shot and killed by a bullet in Chicago. Melissa Ortega was going with her mother in Chicago’s Little Village on Saturday where she lost her life. According to police, attacker’s target was a 26 years old man who who was coming from the nearest store.

While firing, a bullet hit the girl’s head and she died on the same time. Chicago’s Teachers Union released a statement on Melissa Ortega’s death. Medical examiner’s office identified the girl, she is a student at Emiliano Zapata Academy in Chicago’s Village.
