Oslo: Indian women’s wrestler Anshu Malik has reached the final of the World Wrestling Championships. Anshu Malik has become the first Indian woman to make it to the finals of this match. The World Wrestling Championships are taking place in Oslo, Norway.

In the 57 kg weight class, 19-year-old wrestler Anshu Malik made history by defeating Ukraine’s junior European champion Solomia Wink 11-0. This historic victory of Anshu is also special because she has reached the title race despite the pain in her elbow.
Struggling to reach the final, Anshu Malik defeated Kazakhstan’s Nilufer Remova in a one-sided match in the pre-quarterfinals.
