Mumbai: After the sudden demise of ‘Taraq Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma’ fame Ghanshyam Naik, the industry has lost another gem. Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi, who played Ravana in Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayana’, passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday night. According to media reports, Arvind Trivedi had been ill for some time and died of a heart attack and non-functioning of several organs. His last rites will be performed in Mumbai on Wednesday morning. He was 82 years old.

This information was given by Kaustubh Trivedi, nephew of Arvind Trivedi. He said his health had not been good for a long time but on Tuesday he suffered a heart attack and his limbs stopped working. Arvind Trivedi will be cremated today at the crematorium in Kandivali West, Mumbai.
