Chandigarh: Senior Leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) and Former Finance Minister, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa has urged the Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah that as per the wish of the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s family, Sidhu’s murder probe should be done by the Central Agency so that the matter can be investigated at the earliest.

Questioning the Punjab government’s role in this matter, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa said that even after five days of this gruesome murder, Punjab police has drastically failed to make even a single arrest in this case. Therefore, the matter should immediately be transferred to the Central Investigation Agency. S. Parminder Singh said that the brutal killing of world-renowned Sidhu Moosewala in broad daylight has certainly raised many doubts about the security arrangements of the Punjab government.

“By making the information regarding withdrawal of security of those who required it the most public, Punjab government has certainly behaved in an irresponsible manner, Dhindsa said. S. Dhindsa said that after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, the law and order situation in the state is constantly deteriorating. “Everyday incidents of gang wars, murders, and criminal acts are increasing.

Curbing such incidents at the earliest has now become the need of the hour”, said S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa.  He once again urged the Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah to get the matter investigated by the Central Agency as per the wishes of the family of the late singer so that ensured justice could be delivered to the victim’s family.
