Newsdesk – A video has gone viral of an elderly man held at Pearson Airport. In the video, the elderly person is also threatened to imposed fine of dollars 5000 for not having ArriveCan App installed in mobile.
The video was first uploaded on social media by man’s daughter on July 16 with a caption ‘Scrap the ArriveCan App!!’
The video went viral and it shows a pair arriving at Pearson Airport with their vaccination certificates. But the father aged 86 is not having cellphone and that is the reason elderly man does not have ArriveCan App.
And then the situation comes where an employee of Pearson ask them to either add father on App in daughter’s cellphone or he would be fined of 5000 dollars.
