The owner of ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, Kanta Prasad, was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital on Thursday after attempting suicide, police said.

His wife informed he had been depressed over their financial situation, police said. The 80-year-old had opened a restaurant in December 2020 after people raised funds following a viral video. He had closed the restaurant recently.
