Currently an RSS outfit, which runs under the name of Swadeshi Jagran Manch has demanded from the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to ban Chinese mobile applications like, TikTok as they are indirectly funding the terrorists.
Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) co-convener Ashwani Mahajan on Monday said the immoral terrorist attack in Pulwama has upset the ethics of the nation and steps must be taken immediately to stop the economic gain of any nation that tacitly or directly supports such terrorists.
Mahajan claimed that it is widely known that the Chinese government continues to block India’s attempts to designate Masood Azhar, chief architect of these terror attacks, as a “global terrorist”.
Ashwani said, “At such a time, we believe it is essential that the government create similar hurdles for Chinese companies that are using India for their economic grow,”
The learned politician was of the view that India should not allow Chinese companies to capture its user data without any limits and monitoring, as data is just another form of oil, useless to say it is as important.
In the past two years there has been a explosion of Chinese e-commerce and social media companies and other applications in India, he claimed.
These kind of apps have been banned in a range of nations including Indonesia. Such apps are providing an open place for child pornography and anti-national activities.
He said, Indian authorities should take necessary actions to ban Chinese apps, such as Helo and TikTok, as they have obscene content.
