New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has launched Team India’s new jersey in the run-up to the ICC T20 World Cup. This jersey is slightly different from the current Indian cricket team jersey. This time the Twenty20 World Cup is being hosted by the United Arab Emirates Federation and Oman, starting October 17.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had said a few days ago that a new jersey would be launched for Team India in the near future. The jersey that the Indian team got in the T20 World Cup is a little different. Until now, the jersey that Team India wore was blue.
The color of this jersey is also blue but its design is different. There is a light blue stripe in the middle of the jersey. The Indian team hoisted the tricolor on the back jersey but it has been removed in the new jersey and there is no design on the shoulder.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released Team India’s new jersey on social media. Meanwhile, BCCI’s kit sponsor MPL Sports has also launched it on its Instagram account. In a photo shared by the BCCI on its Twitter handle, skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul are seen in New Jersey.
