Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has ordered the immediate removal of Surajpur District Collector Ranbir Sharma after a video of him slapping a man went viral on social media.

Baghel tweeted, “It’s very sad and condemnable. No such act will be tolerated in Chhattisgarh.” He added, “I’m upset with this incident. I apologise to the young man and his family.”
