SAS Nagar/Chandigarh : Today, an awareness rally was taken out by the youth wing of AAP party at Kharar under the banner of ‘Nasha Chhadau Punjab Bachao’ to sensitize the youth against drugs. Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann participated in this rally.
Addressing the rally on this occasion, Ms Anmol Gagan Mann said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister S.Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to provide drug free, corruption free and clean administration to the people of the state. The minister said that a person addicted to drugs becomes economically weak, but also physically weak. She said that the youth who is addicted to drugs does not even think about himself and his family, instead of getting rid of drugs, he forces his whole family to suffer hell.
She said that it is our moral responsibility to take the youth out of the mire of drugs and motivate them to study, to create a healthy society by making Punjab drug free. She said that Punjab has been honored in the country and abroad due to its cultural heritage and historical background. In the holy land of five rivers, the river of drugs has now choked the youth here. She appealed to the youth to focus on sports and studies instead of the terrible dangers like drugs. She said that the promises made by the state government to the people of Punjab will be fulfilled one by one. The rally was led by Sukhwinder Singh Bittu, the leader of the youth wing of the ‘AAP’ party.
On this occasion Navdeep Singh Goldi, Iqbal Singh, Lakhwinder Singh (BL), Gurcharan Singh, Harman Jhandi, Manjot Singh Somal, Pawan Somal, Jasan Singh, Harpreet Singh Jandpur, Parminder Singh Siumajra, Jaswinder Singh Thaska, Nitasha Joshi, Vikas Mohan , Raghveer Singh Badala, Gurmeet Singh, Manjot Singh Sumal, Suraj Bhan Goyal besides hundreds of youth and volunteers were present.
