Canada has said it’s lifting the ban on direct passenger flights from India from September 27, over five months after it was imposed amid second COVID-19 wave.

Travellers must carry negative COVID-19 test report from an approved laboratory, taken 18 hours before departure. This comes after passengers who flew to Canada from India in three flights on Wednesday tested negative.
