Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau office took a nosedive into the soup after inviting a Sikh hardliner and separatist/ pro-Khalistani Jaspal Atwal at Delhi for an official party, earlier this year.
Although, PM Trudeau has corned him from the whole incident saying, “He never should have invited, we annulled the request of invitation as soon as we got to know about it”, the opposition and Indian media may never let it go that easy.
The whole thing was ticked off when Atwal was clicked with Mrs. Trudeau during Canadian PM’s party at Mumbai.
The invitation indeed was prepared by Canadian high commission in Delhi which later handed it over to the Canadian PMO, revealed a special 50-page report, summed by National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians.
The report has been handed over to PMO Canada’s office. The report says, “The PMO added more than 400 names onto the invitation list for both events.”
Atwal if you don’t know was convicted for attempting assassination on Punjab’s ex-Chief Minister. He was working under the pro Khalistani organization, (ISYF) Sikh Youth Federation.
ISYF’s head notoriously bombed an Air India flight in year 1985 which killed as many as 331 people.
