Newsdesk – Senior Advocate and Congress leader P. Chidambaram had to face protest by lawyers of Congress cell at Calcutta High Court where he had gone for appearing in a case.
There is uproar in Congress because Chidambaram is representing the Bengal Government in High Court in the PIL over metro diary case. This particular PIL is filed by Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha for Congress Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.
According to information, some lawyers who reportedly belong to the congress cell at the court started shouting slogans in protest and raise voices of ‘Go Back’. The protestors also repeatedly told him a ‘sympathiser’ (Dalaal) of the Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress.
The protestors shouting slogans also showed black robes and held him responsible for the poor show of the party in West Bengal.
