Chandigarh: Congress party’s disciplinary panel issued show-cause notice to the former chief of Punjab Congress party Sunil Jakhar. A notice was issued by the panel for Sunil Jakhar’s alleged remarks “against party line” in which Jakhar targeted former Chief Minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi.

Congress party’s disciplinary committee member Tariq Anwar gave this information and said that an another notice is also issued against party leader KV Thomas. As per the information, KV Thomas had attended a seminar which was organised by CPI-M before two days. Tariq Anwar said that Jakhar and Thomas will have to respond in seven days.
