Newsdesk – Britain’s Conservative MP Rishi Sunak is new Prime Minister after other candidates quit the race to lead the Conservative party. Sunak will be taking oath on October 28. He could manage the support of 200 MPs whereas Penny Mordaunt could get support of 26 MPs.

Sunak will have to steer a task of deeply divided country through an economic downturn set to leave millions of people poorer. Sunak , one of the wealthiest politicians in Westminister , will be asked to form a government by King Charles. Sunak will be replacing Liz Truss , the outgoing leader who only lasted 44 days in job. Penny Mordaunt also pulled out of the PM race.

Sunak , the 42 year old former Finance Minister becomes Britain’s third Prime  Minister in less than two months. He will have to restore in the country as it has gone through political and economic turmoil from the last several years.

Sunak married to Akshata Murthy daughter of Infosys chief Narayan Murthy.
