Mohali/Patiala: Former minister of Punjab and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia was in jail from the yesterday. Majithia surrender in the court yesterday’s morning. Hearing on the petition of Majithia was held in the district court of Mohali today. There was a long debate between the defense and the public prosecutors regarding Majithia.

Court has reserved its verdict on the bail application. Majithia’s counsel DS Sobti presented his arguments and said that under the pressure of Navjot Singh Sidhu, a case has been registered against Majithia, while the public prosecutors also put forth their arguments for not getting bail.
