The Delhi government on Friday announced a public holiday on November 10 for Chhath Puja. “Chhath Puja is an important festival for the people of NCT of Delhi,” it added.
Earlier, Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said Chhath Puja will be permitted in Delhi at designated spots. Only a limited number of people will be allowed while following COVID-19 protocols.
