Actress Dia Mirza took to social media to reveal that she and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed their son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi on May 14.

She said she gave birth via an emergency C-section and added that her son was born prematurely. Dia further said that she suffered a very severe bacterial infection during pregnancy that could have been life-threatening.
