KYIV — Russian missile and drone attacks killed eight people, including two in Kyiv and six at a vegetable-storage facility in the Kharkiv region. A maternity hospital, homes, warehouses, a post office, vehicles and energy infrastructure were damaged in the capital.
Ukraine said the wider barrage involved 282 drones and an unspecified number of ballistic and hypersonic missiles. No patients or medical workers were reported injured at the maternity hospital.
