He said Amit Shah Union Minister of Home here today while addressing an meeting of BJP leaders in the party headquarters.

Recalling the historic sacrifices and colossal contribution in ushering in the grain self sufficiency. Shah said that “ the BJP is committed to honour and stand with the land of Gurus who gave up there lives to protect the rights of people in the country. I want to assure the People of Punjab that the Centre and the nation are standing with every citizen of Punjab and this crisis situation will not be allowed to worsen .

Speaking on a emotive note the Union Minister Shah said that the land of the Gurus has stood like a rock to protect the borders and in any crisis faced by the nation , Punjab has stood up gallantly be it ushering in green revolution or protecting the borders Said Mr Shah.

Taking a dig at AAP he said that in three months the party has unveiled its face of deceit and deception and one shudders that what will they do in five years. Assuring the state leadership he said that “ we will emerge as the largest political party in the 2024 parliamentary elections in the state as people are all ready disgruntled with AAP and are waiting to rout them out in the next elections.
Putting all political rumours to rest Shah said that BJP will be contesting elections on its own and any one wanting to join will have to contest under the Kamal. “ we are here to win and bring prosperity to the state.” said  Amit Shah.

The state party President Ashwani Sharma while welcoming  Amit Shah said that BJP in the state stands committed to gallantly safe guard the interests of the state and will not allow anyone to disturb the peace of the state. The BJP will contest the Sangrur by-election along with its allies Punjab Lok Congress party and SAD ( Sanyukit) .
